Coopers Kids, PLLC and The Sensory Circuit & Gym is a facility where the inter relationships between occupational, physical and speech therapies are integrated, instead of divided, and utilized in the successful treatment and rehabilitation of the whole child.
Prior to opening the center, formerly known as The Sensory Circuit & Gym, in 2003 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Susan Foley, occupational therapist, and Lisa Leshner, physical therapist, operated individual private practices for 14 years in Brooklyn, NY. It was out of their many years of successful collaborations on intervention strategies in the treatment of infants and children, they decided to create a clinic based on their ideology.
To date they employ eight therapists and accept clinical interns for graduate degrees in both Occupational and Physical Therapy.
